However, the screenplay has received mixed reactions. Although it has been appreciated by some, it is labeled inconsistent by others. But the die-hard fans of the DC Universe are naturally looking forward to the next season of the ‘Titans.’ Here is what we know!

Titans Season 3 Release Date

‘Titans’ season 2 released on September 6, 2019, on DC Universe completing its run on November 29, 2019. Season 2 consists of 13 episodes with a running time of 40-50 minutes each.

The regular cast of the series feature Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Nightwing, Anna Diop as Koriand’r/ Kory Anders, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth, Ryan Potter as Gar Logan, and Curran Walters as Jason Todd/Robin/Red Hood. Conor Leslie features as Donna Troy/Wonder Girl, Chelsea Zhang as Rose Wilson, Joshua Orpin as Conner, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall/Hawk, Esai Morales as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, and Damaris Lewis as Blackfire. Other characters that we can expect to see in the upcoming season are Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne, Barbara Gordon, and Dr. Jonathan Crane. In season 3, almost all the cast members will return apart from a few exceptions and new faces might be seen in addition. Although Rachel and Deathstroke die in the second season, one can’t be sure that they will not appear in the next.

Titans Season 3 Plot: What can it be about?

Season 2 sees the much-awaited transformation of Dick Grayson into Nightwing. Rose and Nightwing kill Deathstroke as Jericho jumps into Rose’s body. Starfire continues to be hunted by her sister Blackfire, who at the finale’s end we see, finds a way to manifest herself physically on Earth. Gar and Conner are brainwashed by Mercy Graves who works for Cadmus Labs but Rachel eventually brings the situation under control. Donna Troy dies trying to hold up a falling electrical tower, which electrocutes. Her body is returned to the Amazons and Rachel chooses to go along with them, believing that her ever-increasing powers could help resurrect her. Bruce Wayne makes appearances mostly as a part of the psyche of some of the Titans.

Season 3 may see more drama between the sisters Starfire and Blackfire, especially as Starfire seems to gradually weaken over time. The way things pan out between Rachel and the Amazons would make another interesting subplot since Rachel’s powers dive into the dark side every now and then. We could possibly see a whole new side to Donna if she does come alive, given Rachel’s unpredictable superpowers. The effect of Bruce Wayne’s appearance on the Titans could be another thing that plays out. As Jericho and Rose share a body, it will not be an easy adjustment to make. Another problem could arise if their sinister father, Deathstroke does somehow survive. As shown previously, it will not be the first time that he resurfaces after being presumed dead, if we do see him again. As Gar and Conner will regain control of their mind, they may have to deal with some residual effects.
